NIce historic lodge with great restaurant and bar! People are great and if you get a chance make sure you visit with Sue and Bert! They both are great and have fantastic knowledge of Eagle Nest history.
Clean spacious cabins. The staff, every one from the receptionists, grounds keepers, to the restaurant personnel were incredibly friendly. Couldn't figure out the heater. Thermostat didn't seem to work but the cabin retained the heat from the warm sun so as it turned out, it wasn't a problem. Visited in mid April, nothing else open in town other than a Shell gas/convenience store. Not being from NM I was surprised that a gas station sold wine & liquor but they saved the day. I can only imagine how much fun this place is in summer but a ghost town in April.
The room was so cute, cozy & clean as a whistle!! Enjoyed the front porch as well. We wouuld highly recommend it!
Doesn't look like much from the road but the place is fantastic. Our room was large and well decorated. Super comfortable rooms with all the amenities of a hotel. The staff was super friendly and was knowledgeable about every restaurant in Eagle's Nest. We are already planning a second trip to Eagle's Nest and will probably stay here.
Stayed here while on a road trip last week. VERY clean room, nice amenities. Would have really liked to try the restaurant under the same management but it seems most of the town is closed Tuesdays? Only complaint was there was no AC and the fan they supplied didn't work awesome.
