We tent camped at Weathers RV Park June 8-13, 2015. It has beautiful views of Wheeler Peak and Eagle Nest Lake. The humming birds zoom all day and it is very peaceful and quiet. Marti is very nice, helpful and accommodating to campers' needs. Amenities include WiFi, flush toilets stocked with toilet paper, sinks stocked with soap and paper towels (no hot water, no showers), pavilion, picnic table, library, game room, laundry, electric, water and sewer hookups. It was a good base camp for driving to Enchanted Circle sights such as Taos, Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, Red River, Cimarron's St. James Hotel and Eagle Nest's Calamity Jane's.
Martie is the best! My husband and I just went for a drive to see what was out there for us to park our RV and I fell in love with the camp ground right away! Beautiful view of the lake and surrounding mountains! She let us check the place out and made us feel so at home. The following week we we were on our way to Taos but still had a day of travel and decided to stay at Weathers RV and called Martie for reservations. We were only there for one day but she made us feel so welcome along with people that was regulars there....we made a lot of friends that day...so worth the stay...so serene and peaceful....see you soon Martie!!!
