Was wondering if the lack of availability of a full menu was due to poor planning or just lack of a management team.
If you ever come to Eagle Nest New Mexico this a great historic place to eat at. The hamburgers and fries are the best!

Had the mushroom swiss burger very good and sides just as good service was quick staff was friendly
Was rather disapointed being greeted with a sign as soon as we entered the eatery that there was a limited menu. Then when it came to ordering time there was the dreaded 'we're not serving this, were not serving that, were not serving anything with beef unless it comes in the form of hamburger'. Which eliminated a large number of choices from full meals to certain sandwiches.
There is a note that needs to be made here, the limited choice of food that we ordered was good. Nothing wrong with flavor or otherwise. However there was a lacking in the expierance.
Hoping that with the limited places to eat on a Sunday in Eagle's Nest that our next visit is a better one at Calamity Janes. If not will have to come up with a different plan.
First waitress was sick!! Yes, Sick delivering our food!! second waitress stepped up to fill in neither were friendly, bloodymarys were ordered, we all were given the wrong drink seveal ordered non spice others ordered spicey drinks were all delivered wrong, vegetables in drink were old! Food was so so, Will not return to this place of establishment with so many others to choose from to eat! Just our experience!
Then the last few minutes of our dinning it was made very clear by an employee that were closing in 20 minutes folks so.....(this was still 6 hours before the stated closing time on the door).
Also noted that there were new hours of closing time clearly posted on the door that was at least 6 hours away from our visit, this along with the obvious upcoming Monday legal holiday, it makes one wonder why there was not the necessary preplan for extra needed food that could have been served to the public.
