Eagle Nest is a quaint little town and always draws a crowd during the Art Festival. After strolling around the many art booths we enjoyed the beer on tap at the Lucky Shoe. The beers were nice and cold and hit the spot for us. We tried out the Cheese Fries and sadly I can’t recommend them to you. The four of us didn’t even eat half the order. They were thin fries with cheese sauce poured on top and then smothered with green peppers. Soggy fries would be a much better name.
The owners were very friendly..good food but small menu. Very nice atmosphere.
Service was slow and even our beer orders were messed up. Not a good experience for us at all.
don't go there, terrible experience! Mediocre food, over priced, terrible customer service. The food was very expensive and the portions very small the owner is being greedy and cheaply making the food. I sent 1 thing back (the canned 3 bean salad) and he actually charged me to sub a different side (fries). we just stopped to eat while passing through on a road trip, dont make our mistake.
